Studio Grand 2 XL on Nord Piano5

Hello:) When i play the Studio Grand 2 XL on the Nord Piano 5 on KB Touch Medium the attack sounds "muffled". i have to hit harder to get it sound more bright.
When i EQ it ant add more treble it sounds then how i want it or when i set i on LIGHT TOUCH but with EQ it sounds then how it "should sound". is it just me or do you also have the same observation?
