Octaves - can the Nord Electro 6 play octaves automatically?

Hi, I'm a new Nord owner and I have a need to play an octave automatically either 1 or 2 below a keyed note? For instance, if I'm playing A4, C4, D4, E4, I'd like to hear A4&A3, C4&C3, D4&D3, E4&E3. Is this possible without purchasing additional equipment (octave generators, etc.)?
Thank you!

Only if you use the available engines or play those octaves with your own hands.
You could have a piano sound with an organ or sample sound tuned to a different octave. That’s pretty much it on the NE6.

Well it depends.
You can load a piano sample into the sample synth engine (there are/were are few in the Nord library). You will get the piano sound albeit only a single velocity sample. Then use that sample for whichever octave you want to be the less prominent, so it doesn’t stand out. You will certainly get the effect, but give up a bit of nuance. How believable it will sound depends directly on your playing context.
Can’t hurt to try.

Another solution is to use a MIDI "effect loop": Route MIDI to a device that simply transposes the note messages one octave, and then routes them back into the Electro. As long as Electros have basic "Global MIDI" features.
