I have several user created samples I want to add to my piano 5. I tried importing using the latest version of the manager. But get the error it's the wrong format and doesnt give the option to convert. I used the converter to make nsmp to 3 for my electro 6d and worked fine. Now I just need to get my samples into the new format for the np5. Please help

I have a post with NSM v7.62 here that can be used to convert the NSMP files. The latest version of NSM has a bug and won't convert NSMP files for the Piano 5 or Stage 4. I hope this helps. Take care

Update: MartinJ2EX reported that version 1 NSMP files created with Nord Sample Editor 2 loaded just fine onto his NS4. The Nord Sound Manager bug might be with version 2 NSMP files created with later versions of NSE. NSMP samples I created with NSE4 loaded fine on the Piano 5 until recently while they wouldn't for the NS4, and now they won't load on either.

Try this:
- Open NSM,
- Select "Organize" mode,
- Select the "Samples" tab,
- Make sure you have sufficient memory available to load the sample (if not, delete others to make space),
- drag and drop the NSMP sample you want to an open memory location. At this point you should get a message that the NSMP file is the wrong format and be asked if you want it converted to NSMP4 format. Good luck!

Maybe spotted before but seems you cannot import (to convert) nsmp AND nsmp3 in the same batch in NSM. You'll need to import two times : first with only nsmp and then only with nsmp3 samples.
