I want to download sounds from the Nord Sound Library (Nord Piano Library - White Grand as an example). It says the sounds are compatible with NS3 but all the files are npno and the Nord Sound Manager does not recognize them as valid to download.

Nord Sound Manager has several tabs for different aspects of the memory - Piano, Samples, Programs, Songs, etc.

You need to go to the Piano tab in the Nord Sound Manager and download there - likely needing to delete or substitute existing piano samples if you don't have enough memory to load the new one.
