Has anyone been able to successfully update their machine to 1.08? I'm trying to get it to upgrade using a Mac, connecting with a Midisport 2x2 and CANNOT get it to work, for the life of me. After I select which MIDI interface I want to use (the A or B channel on the Midisport), the updater just displays a message saying "Please select the Nord Drum MIDI ports" before eventually timing out. I've scoured the manual and can't find the error of my ways...?

Welcome to the forums!

Are you using one of the OSX Leopards, or Lion?
I might venture a guess that if it's Lion, the Rosetta issue is the problem.

You might try borrowing a windows PC or contact Nord technical support at the following link:

Thanks, Hanon...it's Lion that I'm trying the upgrade from, but my work laptop is a wee Snow Leopard, so I'll try that and post my results here.

I figured it out... Even though I've used the Midisport with a bunch of other devices without installing a driver (I thought it was class-compliant), when I installed the software from M-Audio's site, it finally worked. Yay!
