Last year Piano 5 owners were successful in loading "user-created" NSMP files. NSM converted them to NSMP4 format for the Piano 5 but didn't work for the Stage 4. The last 2 NSM versions note that the conversion should now work for the Stage 4 however a Stage 4 owner reported it worked for some NSMP files and not for others. Another Stage 4 owner reported they were unsuccessful loading my "Jump" NSMP samples here onto their Stage 4. As it's possible that functionality for Piano 5 owners might have inadvertently changed with these latest NSM changes, can someone with a Piano 5 confirm the latest NSM v7.84 will convert user-created NSMP files to NSMP4 format? My Hammond B3 NSMP samples are posted here or the Van Halen "Jump" sample could be tested as well.

It's exactly the same behavior than I've experienced with my Stage 4:

Your Van Halen and Hammond NSMP files can't be imported and converted into the Piano 5, neither with 7.84 nor 7.82.
The following error appears: Some other user samples do work, e.g. this one: All NSMP3 files also work in both instruments.

Thank you for checking, I didn't notice you were a Piano 5 owner as well. My Hammond B3 NSMP files have loaded onto Piano 5s in the past, so it looks like it's a bug that didn't exist last year. I'd suggest all Piano 5 users contact Nord Support to request fixing the problem. Thanks again, take care.

Had trouble with the latest NSM in downloading and converting NSMP samples of this forum. Hat Tip to WannitBBBad for providing a link to an older version of NSM version 7.62 It was able to download and install a number his Hammond organ Samples on the Nord Piano 5 without a problem.

Could someone please post a link to download the older version NSM?

Or even better: Hammand & Rhodes pianos in np5p format?

I bought an NP5. I would love to download some hammond and Rhodes sounds, however v7.84 will not accept any file format other than np5p. There is no option to convert. The terrible irony here is that even the Nord Library offers no np5p format files.

I've narrowed the problem down to NSMP files created with Nord Sample Editor 4 (NSMP2 format). Older NSMP files and ones created by Nord load fine in the NS4, so I assume Piano 5 as well. The latest version 9.02 of NSM won't load a test NSMP file created by the latest NSE.

Update: Support in the U.S.A. has forwarded the issue to Clavia for testing and resolution.
