Hi,

I have a Nord Piano 4 and I would like to protect it from... my cat !
I have the official Nord dust cover V2 but that doesn't stop him from getting on it.
The other day he popped the sample selection cap so I'm looking for a solution...

A plastic decksaver ? But I haven't found something big enough for my Nord piano.
Or maybe a dust cover thicker than the Nord one ?

Anyway, if you have any ideas, I'm interested.

I could also strangle young Moon but I would like to avoid it!

Get rid of the cat and get a dog they are cool. Anything other than a hard cover a cat is going to tear thru over time.

Note I've seen the power cable chewed up by a dog (not mine, unfortunately).

Can they be separated spatially - each in a different room?

Thanks for the link, it's efficient but a bit cumbersome for a 88 notes keyboard.
I was thinking about a quilted blanket or something like that.

I have a cover (for a different keyboard) from Digital Deck Covers. I bought one made from a heavy duty nylon for a Prophet 6 some years ago. It is very heavy duty fabric. And I plan to get another for a desktop module synth. They have several different fabrics. I suspect the thick quilted cotton would protect it nicely from a cat walking on it. Their site indicates they have made covers for the Nord Piano 4.

Viktory Covers is based in EU, has a model for the NP4, or they will do any custom size. They also offer a variety of materials, colors and finishes. I've personally never used them, but they have a good reputation at least judging from reviews and comments.

I got the NS4 compact and i would like to find a decksaver in hard plastic(PVC) to cover the knobs and faders of the board when i'm home/travelling

The links above seems to only propose soft protection for dust but not for liquid /chocs.

Anyone have an idea where to buy one ?
DIY ?
