So, you are still alive!

I was confident you'd be thrilled.

Seems like a VERY incremental upgrade. It's essentially the same instrument with more sample memory, the new-generation effects and the new-generation interface with layer faders instead of "panels".
The big question is how much the new keybed will be an improvement for demanding piano technique.
Anyway it's nice to see that the collaboration with Kawai continues, and the Nord Grand was not a weird one-off!

The unison feature is a nice upgrade, as are the dual piano/sample engines. Dynamic compression is sweet. Per layer FX look imported from the Stage 4, which is very useful as well.
Although it's basically the same keybed, samples, etc. -- the upgrades are significant in my mind, as they all are so useful on the Stage 4.

NG2 has the same 2GB for piano sounds. They removed panel lock also. Ridiculous.

That's what it should actually mean that Clavia will not bring another device (Electro 7 etc.) onto the market in 2024...
(In recent years, Clavia Nord has only released 1 device per year)

It is certainly going to have access to whatever the Piano 5 has access to.
