Samples longer then a minute

Does anyone know if there is a way to create and load a sample that is longer than 60 seconds? It's kind of tedious to splice a long sample into multiple smaller parts. With NSE 4.2 it's currently not possible.

A samples > 60 seconds??? Samples for the Nord synths (and for synths in general) are intended as Oscillator waveforms, not as files of an audio/mp3 player of backing tracks... if that is what you need you should look for a different device/solution; if instead you mean a single .wav file with multiple notes samples in it (like 60 notes of 1s), well splitting it in 2-3 smaller parts (with Audacity) before importing in NSE should not be a big deal.

Samples longer than 60 seconds weren't a problem with Nord Sample Editor V.2. They don't seem to be possible with NSE3 or 4.

You will probably not be able to create nsmp4 samples with a NSE 2 - but you might create a nsmp3 and convert it afterwards with NSM. No idea if this will work.

If you need a sample that long it could be better to just hook up another device to the monitor input and stream it through your Nord...
