Are the Nord Profile stands compatible with accessories and supports designed by K&M? Mostly K&Ms Omega Pro series?

Looks like the design is very similar, but cannot say if the materials or quality of construction is. Costs $120 less, so there must be some differences.

They are!! Completely compatible. My Nord (Profile) stand arrived and I can use any of my K&M second tiers on it.

I probably found what you are talking about. It's called "Nord Profile Heavy-Duty Stand" (or "Table") and sold on Reverb, Amazon and by Sweetwater. I wouldn't think it has anything to do with Clavia Nord - at least it's not listed amoung the Nord accessories and has a strange 'P' logo on the screws. No idea where it comes from, though.

And Pyle makes one that is even more similar to the K&M stands. And it's only $99. WOW.. What a deal for these sturdy stand types.

Indeed! I have three of these Pyle stands. They're great.

Both the Nord Profile stand and the Pyle are more like the K&M Omega, not the Omega Pro, as far as I can see - the Omega Pro features folding legs which the Omega lacks of. Still great stands though

I wonder if there is a true Omega Pro compatible stand available incl. folding legs but at a reasonably lower price than the K&M, haven't found one yet. Also bot the Nord Profiel and the Pyle stands seem not to be available in Germany (or Europe)?

Good point about the Omega vs Omega Pro. I have an Omega Pro, and I inadvertently put em all in the same category. Ooops.
I'm going to reserve my Omega Pro for portability, live gigs. And all the FIXED stands for home studio purposes. I've used X stands for decades. Lately, I find myself really liking these stationary stands.

I have not seen anyone else do the folding K&M Omega Pro style yet. Would be nice.
