What new products do you think NAMM 2024 Nord will have (or will there be stage 5 )

Not a NS5 - LOL. The NS4 is still very new and getting some OS and bug stabilization.

Some possibility of a Nord Electro 7, as they trickled down some of the NS3 features into the NE6. It's not entirely clear what they would do in a NE7 to really differentiate it, though there are plenty of other threads about this topic.

Probably still early for a NP6 or NW3. Perhaps they get back to the Nord Lead series with a NL5 or NLA2? It has been a pretty long while since they've done anything with these synths.

Some speculate that Nord is out of the dual manual clonewheel game, so a Nord C3D is probably less likely. Who knows! Only Nord.

Be nice if a new Nord Piano came out based on changes that came to the Stage 4.

I would really like a new Nord Modular G3 with vocoder and which can read samples from the nord library, 49 keys would be perfect!

I guess the next Nord product in line will be a Nord Electro 7, with a better hammer-keybed than the current Fatar TP100 on the HP-model. I read the Fatar TP110 should be an improvement. I also expect the sample-synth possibilities found on Nord Piano 5 to be implemented on Electro 7 - filters - unison, mono and legato mode etc..

NS5 with song mode so they can get their stage sales up.

Nord is not losing sales of the NS4 because of Song Mode. There are so many better options for dealing with song lists and program patches all of which make it a simple task to rearrange songs lists on the fly which you cannot do in Song Mode, or to have multiple set lists all with different arrangements or completely different songs without doing anything but pulling up the list.

I get that song mode is something that you personally liked, but you represent a small percentage of overall sales and that specific feature is so far down the list of stuff that needs to be addressed that are actual functional issues.

Nobody serious about buying a premiere class keyboard is making that decision because of inclusion or lack of Song Mode.

Check this video for TP-110 action. - 1:55 minutes out in the video - I really like to see this in a new Nord Electro... No more jumping/bouncing keys...

Considering that the NS4 is barely out on the market I don't think that's very likely, historically a new Stage has been released every 6 years, with Swedish precision (Nord Stage in 2005, Nord Stage 2 in 2011, Nord Stage 3 in 2017 and Nord Stage4 in 2023).

Nord Keyboards Timeline

The NS4 already incorporated the main improvements from the other product lines: mainly the new improved keybeds from the NP5, the new effects and new layer structure of the NW2. As others have mentioned, it's probably time that these updates are included in a new Electro, the NE6 has been around since 2018 and is getting a bit old.

By checking the Nord timeline, the oldest Nord in production is by far the NLA1 which will be 10 years old next year. Also, the "traditional" Lead line has been neglected since the NL4 was discontinued in 2020. Hopefully they have a new Lead in the plans!
