Hi chaps hope all are well :)

Can anybody point me to a download of an "orchestral hit" or equivalent, as per Owner of a Lonely Heart
by Yes?

Thanks in advance

Actually searching literally for "orchestra hit" in the NUF Search box returns me quite a few results, try again?

PS among others, I got this one nord-user-samples-nsmp-samples-f14/owne ... 19481.html, you can use that .wav to build your own .nsmp with Nord Sample Editor

@maxpiano, nowdays, you need to be precise in your response, I only gave quick guidelines ;)
@FloydMD : Load the Orch5 from the Fairlight library and you should be good to go :) https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... orchestral
Or sample the hit from the original song : Kool is back from Funk, Inc :)

Please follow the different ideas:
A) https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... orchestral or
B) search nordusersounds.com (the somewhat affiliated website of norduserforum.com) for orchestra. There are samples.

Perhaps confusion from the orchestral hit title. It's a single hit by that orchestra very popular in the 80s. I have it on a Korg m50...

As explained also in the other post, it is one of the Fairlight samples, at least that's what was originally used by Yes; just download the full set from Nord Sample Library that FZiegler linked https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... orchestral then try the various "Orchestra" samples and you should find it.

Not knowing about the Fairlight orchestral hits, I put together a sample from a WAV file a while back if you want to try it as well (Fairlight better for the song). The sample is posted here. Take care.

Here are the classic samples you're searching for, if you or someone wishes to make an nsmp. Enjoy
