hi all!
my Motif Rack ES is hooked up to my Stage88 via MIDI, so i'm using the Stage as a master (of course).
i've set up my EXTERN settings so that PANEL A sends MIDI on channel 1 and PANEL B sends MIDI on channel 9.

(my MOTIF setups are made in MULTI (-timbral) mode, to avoid note cut off's, with some voices recieving on channel 1 and others on channel 9)

i've set the PARAMETER KNOB to send MIDI CC 011 (expression) on both panels. what i realized was that when LAYERING the panels the knob only sends MIDI data to the active panel. that makes sense! but what if i want to control expression on both EXTERN sections simultanious?

can this be done by adding a control pedal and plug it in the CONTROL PEDAL jack? or will the pedal only send on the active panels midi channel as well?

question 2:
is the control pedal fixed to send only MIDI CC011 (expression) to the EXTERN sections or can this be changed?

i've found out that the control pedal controls EXPRESSION for both panels EXTERN sections simultanious when playin with DUAL PANELs.

and also i haven't fint any way to adress the CONTROL PEDAL to anything else but EXPRESSION. so i don't think this is possible.
