I wish that the C2D's MIDI implementation...

I wish that the C2D's MIDI implementation sent both high trigger and low trigger velocity messages for each key press, but on different channels. Then the keybed could set to high trigger for organ but the low trigger messages could be used for a velocity sensitive device like an epiano, synth, or bass module.

Lower manual velocity set to 68 for 'no legato' and 78 minimum for 'legato'.Pianos on waterfalls simply non expressive no matter what velocity or trigger point IMO.
Will control table top mono synths well enough for most things.
Still routed through a Yamaha MEP4 so MIDI is the same protocol as 1983.

I wonder if this would help.
From the C2D manual:
Keyboard velocity
The Nord C2D can transmit keyboard velocity messages if the MIDI
Local parameter is set to Ext or the Keyboard Trig Mode is set to Low
This is done in the System Menu, read more about this on page 20
Organ sounds will always be played back at nominal level regardless of
incoming MIDI Velocity data Release velocity is also transmitted

The problem is that low trigger is required to send velocity. but high trigger gives a better touch for organ.
