Nord Stage 3 73 Piano section only issue
Hello!
I received a flooded Nord Stage 3 73 keys for repair. I cleaned everything and put it back together, now everything works except the PIANO section. All sounds of the piano section work only in the highest octave (the last 17 keys on the right side).
If I use a sounds of the ORGAN or SYNTH section, all the sounds work as they should, on the whole keyboard.
If I combine a sound (for example PIANO and SYNTH - PAD), the combination working only in the last octave, below that only works the PAD.
What could be the issue? Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
Does anyone have a schematic for the Nord Stage 3?
Thanks in advance!

I think the keybed cleaning was not accurate (did you clean under the rubber contacts?) or something wrong when reconnecting keyboard to mainboard, as Piano uses dynamics while organ and synth don't, so 99% the octaves not working are not detecting velocity.

TNX for reply!maxpiano wrote:I think the keybed cleaning was not accurate (did you clean under the rubber contacts?) or something wrong when reconnecting keyboard to mainboard, as Piano uses dynamics while organ and synth don't, so 99% the octaves not working are not detecting velocity.
Yes, I completely cleaned the keyboard, even under the rubber bands. And the velocity in the octave, which is functional, works normally... hmm...
I once had a problem with Kurzweil PC3K (fatar), where velocity didn't work... but the sound worked (without velocity control) through the whole keyboard.

You are probably right!!maxpiano wrote:Then I suggest to open it an recehck the connectors (both keybed side and mainboard side)
I connected an external MIDI keyboard (NI Komplete Kontrol 88) and the sound works through the entire external keyboard! I'll check the connectors again!

Is there a red led just above the area that divides the playing and non playing keys.
You may have a split set up with the lower area muted.
There isnt a stage 3 73. There is a 76.
If its 20 notes that are ok. Maybe this is it and not a fault.
