Based on the advice in this forum, I bought QSC K10.2. Love the light-ish weight.

Middle of a gig they stop outputting audio. I factory reset them and they came back on for a few minutes and then stopped again. They had power all the time and I was not over driving them.

S[url]eems like this is a known problem that happens to a lot of people.

Sad and disappointed.

Which firmware do they run? 1.3.3 is the minimum recommended (to be seen under 'Settings').

Or was it a problem of heat?

Have you contacted QSC Support directly? The speakers have a 6-year warranty when you register them. I had a 4 year old K8.2 and the amplifier failed. A local authorized repair center took care of it, no charge to me.

The speakers were within 45 day return period at Guitar Center. Just returned them and had them get a replacement. We'll see how that does.
