NE6 - Strange behavior at main output

Post by Wolfgang T »

With my NE6 I noticed that with some sounds at the main output only the pure reverberation can be heard or if you switch off the reverberation completely, there is no longer any sound in the main output.

It should be noted here that the sound is always audible in the headphones as it should be and the output routing is set to stereo.
(As an example A12 preset "Nefertity").

Does anyone have an explanation for this?

FYI: There was a problem with the cable.

In the meantime I tried it with a different audio cable and it worked.

I therefore withdraw my question !

Yep, this can happen if the two channels are summed together with one of them inverted -- usually a problem with the cable or an adapter (e.g. a minijack to jack used with headphones).
