Hi all,

I created a small web app to browse NS4 presets & select them over MIDI.
(See nord-stage-forum-f3/ns4-web-app-to-navi ... 23807.html)

I would like to create the same for NS3, but I don't have a NS3 myself.
Could someone post the NS3 factory presets as a reply to this post?
This can easily be done using the Nord Sound Manager, using the 'export' function in the menu.
This will result in some html files.

(Note: please only upload such file if it contains the unmodified factory presets)

Another option if you don't have NSM nor the NS3 is to export the information with downloading the official backup file, load it in the Nord Stage Viewer online app and export the XLS or CSV !

I guess he has build the application using the export html feature in Nord Sound Manager and not based on other (exported) files.

You must be right !
This still could be a trick with a little post-processing

Am I understanding this correctly as the app only reads a predefined html and sends SysEx for program change, and there is no communication to fetch the actual programs in the Stage ?

The app is preconfigured with the factory presets of the NS4, and is also able to parse the exported html file of NSM. It doesn't read presets from the ns4 itself, which would be superb, and should be possible using sysex, but that info is not publicly available.

By presets, you only mean the synth presets? There may be some users who still have their factory set stored. It won't certainly be the same with programs, though.

If you mean NS3 programs, this may be more complicated. The factory bundles may even have changed over time.

And somebody would need to backup their programs, reload the factory bundle in order to list it for you. May take a few days until somebody will be able to do that. I'm sorry, I can't within the next 3 weeks.

BTW: It would be new to me if there was much SysEx existing in the newer generations of Nord instruments.

Here is the CSV of "Nord Stage 3 Factory Restore RevH v2.5X.ns3b" extracted using the Nord File Viewer : As said, it takes ages to backup the NS3 and reload it with the backup file, do the HTML extract, then reload the previous backup.
I suggest some trick to either read the backup=zip file or use the CSV extract above.
