Missing samples for Nord Stage 4 (NSL 4.0)

Hi !
Does anyone know if they're gonna complete the Nord sample library 4.0 ? I'm moving from Nord Stage 3 to 4, and now i'm missing a lot of samples that were in the NSL 3.0
Like, there are no more piano or E.P samples, almost no solo strings, less strings ensembles, etc...
I have a lot of concerts coming this summer and i'm not able to program things that i did with the Stage 3
that's not normal

Hi, probably they will in time, but you can load also .nsmp3 (v3 Library) samples in NS4 with Nord Sound Manager so you should have no problems regarding that.

I tried, it says "File extension (nsmp3) is not supported by this instrument"

I would anticipate that it's work in progress (no pianos, 30 Strings in NSMP4 vs 78 in NSMP3,..). Any user-created NSMP3 files can be converted to NSMP4 format with the Nord Sound Manager. A current bug in NSM v7.70 won't allow conversion of user-created NSMP files, though it works with the Piano 5.

Ok so it's just a Nord Sound Manager current bug, and i should be able to read NSL 3.0 in the Nord Stage 4 ?

I'm not so sure about that. Wasn't it that way that you can only convert nsmp3 files that aren't factory samples but third party?
And wasn't there somebody who offered some piano sounds for Nord Wave 2 on this very forum? So you should be able to convert those - at least with a Nord Piano 5!
Well, things may be a bit complicated for early adopters... That's something I heard about early times of NS3, too.

Yeah this is a pain - I wanted that horn-trio-and-bari sound... but have ended up making a new brass patch from some of the new samples. I'll upload it when I'm done creating all my new programs!

No, the bug is that NSM v7.70 should convert user-created NSMP and NSMP3 files to NSMP4 format, however it currently only works with user-created NSMP3 files for the NS4. By design, NSM will not convert Nord-created samples of any type. Good luck!
UPDATE: I've posted Nord Sample Converter v1.12
HERE as a temporary fix for converting NSMP files to NSMP3 format which NSM v7.70 can convert to NSMP4 for the NS4.
