NS4, bug with sustain and extern section?

Hi folks!
I think i've discovered a possible bug in the NS4. I have informed Clavia about this and waiting for reply. In the meanwhile i would like any of you try this out and post back your experiences.
The symptom
When the NS4 is paired with a sound module via MIDI and the NS4 is used as a master, sustained notes hang after the pedal is released.
However, the hanging notes do release when the key is pressed down to just above its trigger point (where "key on" is sent to the sound module).
More detailed
The phenomenon does not occur when sustain is sent on a global midi channel, but only when one of the layers of the synth part is used as an external section. This, I think, indicates that it is a bug in the system and not a handling error.
It is also required that the sustain pedal is held down and two touches are made on the same key, before the pedal is released. Only the keys where two touches have been made are affected (can be compared to sostenuto effect).
So Sustain works as expected if you only make one touch, but not two.
To check if you also experience the bug, connect the module you'd like to control with the NS4 and make the following settings:
1. Activate the specific panel in the synth section for which you have chosed to be extern section (see MIDI MENU 6/8).
2. MIDI MENU
1/8: Local on
2/8: Channel global= off
3/8: Channel Org= off
4/8: Channel Pno= off
5/8: Channel Syn= off
6/8: Channel Ext= 1 (if your SM recieves on ch1) (thru= off)
7/8: Control change mode (CC= off, PC= off, Dev= off, PC Ext= off)
8/8: Transpose MIDI at: IN
3. EXTERN MENU
1/6: Keyb vel= Mid
2/6: Wheel= on, AT= on
3/6: Pedal Ctrl= on, Swell= on, Vol= on
4/6: (MSB and LSB according to your sound modules midi data table)
5/6: Num1=1, Num2=2 (you can choose whatever cc-nr you like, except cc00, cc64 sustain and cc66)
6/6: Send on load= on
4. Save Program (optional).
5. Press sustain pedal - tap a note twice - release pedal.
6. Result??
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
