Nord Triple Pedal suddenly stopped working

Hi

I've been using the nord triple pedal that was included with my nord grand for a little over a year. Frustratingly and seemingly randomly today it decided to stop working. the pedal never leaves the house and yet somehow it only works when I kinda twist the cable around the end of it while plugged in but that obviously is not going to cut it. i've tried other sustain pedals with the grand and they work fine so I know it's the nord pedal.

1 - any recommendations on how to try to fix it? I've only soldered a couple of times and frankly don't have the patience to try to operate on it myself but if yall think it might be an easy fix then I might try it. it really seems like a wiring issue since it does respond when twisting a certain spot in the cable

2 - any recommendations for a new sustain pedal? i've used the roland one in the past but am concerned whether or not certain sustain pedals work well with a keyboard like the grand, ie the subtleties of pedaling ........ maybe i'm overthinking it though

any advice appreciated :thanks:

1. Replace the cable, it is apparently broken, that's the fix you have to do.
If you want something more "definitive" you could go for installing a stereo jack on the pedal, as described in this discussion accessories-and-amplification-f8/triple ... 14664.html

2. Other pedals supported are only on/off type and will not provide half pedaling and pedal noise properly
