Nord Gig Bag is not really "Nord" red?

Hi, I just received my GB88 case for my Stage 3. All the pictures online show a bright red, just like the Nord red of my Stage 3. But the bag I got is absolutely not even close to that color. I don't really care, in the end, but it's expensive and I want to be sure I didn't get a knock off or something! See picture. Is that what they all look like? The red jacket, and backpack, off to the sides look similar to my Stage 3. The Nord bag looks nothing like the Stage 3's red color! (First world problems!)

The color of your case is good. I have two bags with the same color.

Kind of odd that all the online pics are more "Nord" red. But I don't care, as long as it's legit. Thank you!

My Nord Gig Bag 88 has the same color like yours, my Nord Gig Bag 73 is a bit in the direction of purple …. none of them has a color close to the red of the instruments. I don’t care since I just use them to carry my two Nord Stage around ;)

Totally legit! I have some Nord gig bags that are 20+ years old and look just the same. Enjoy! I have found the Nord gig bags to be of high quality and great durability.

Honestly, my experience has been the opposite... at least with the 88 case.
For lighter instruments like the Leads and semi-weighted Electros and Stages the Nord bags are ok, but for such a heavy instrument as the 88, the case is simply not robust enough. The fabric, zippers and pockets started falling apart after about 2 years, too short for such an expensive bag.

As mentioned in another thread, I'd strongly recommend the Gator G-PG series instead.

PS: yes, the color is exactly that, I don't know why they never did it in "Nord red", but that's the way it's always been.

I use the Nord cases since around 5 years and they re still in a perfect condition, no damages, issues, whatsoever.

The biggest disadvantage of the Gator G-PG is the miss of wheels, especially important (at least for me) for the transport of the more heavy NS3-88, therefore the Gator Case is out of the question for me - or did I miss some Gator 88-key cases which have wheels attached?

I think it depends a lot on the use we make of the case. I have a LOT of stairs to do, so wheels are useless to me, they just take up additional useless weight and space. Instead, backpack straps are a blessing ;)
I used the G-PG 88 Slim with my Stage 2 HA88 for a while, and although it's cumbersome to carry such a big and heavy thing on your back, it's certainly better than by hand.
Since then I've moved on to the Stage Compact, and the problem solved itself
