Ok, I connected my nordwave via midi to my Mac and am running midi monitor software.
Pretty easy.
Global midi channel active
Sending almost no data (only notes I am playing)

BUT still sending though midi cc send is set to "off" the following:
- 19:36:57.535 From mio Control 4 Modulation Wheel (coarse) 1 (that's my main problem)
- 19:37:49.817 From mio Control 4 Bank Select 0 (bank select buttons)
- morph button
- pitch wheel

Yes those are the only knobs that still send data when send cc ist deactivated.

Ok what can I do now, please :-)

get a MIDI processor and use it to filter out the mod wheel or any other MIDI commands you don't want to pass through.

I forgot to ask: of course you have the latest OS on your NW2, right?

If so and if also taxman's test will confirm this behaviour, then imho it is a bug to be submitted to Nord support for fixing.

PS: talking about MW only, as Pitch Bend has a separate setting in MIDI menu, as well as Program Change whose setting should include also the Bank Select CCs (0 and 32).

There used to be a bug in this respect: CCs and PCs were all sent and received regardless of the settings, and this bug affected almost the whole latest generation of boards (S3, W2, E6...). It has been solved with a recent update (a year ago I think).

Apparently not every CCs were addressed by the bug fix...

BUT mod wheel, pitch wheel and the sort of controls you describe aren't strictly CCs in MIDI language, so I am afraid that Nord fixed the bug only strictly for CCs and PCs but let the Global channel to send and receive everything else.

By the way, it might be the case that Panel MIDI works differently. Back then, when the original bug was there, this was the reason I never used Global MIDI but Panel MIDI instead.
I am sorry but I have to disagree Hlaalu :)
ModWheel is definitely a CC (CC #1) by definition in the MIDI Standard and since the v1.0 of the MIDI Specifications

I'd prefer not to start discussing this because Clavia handles some basic MIDI CCs in a special way: They aren't mentioned in the CC list but are supported. This doesn't concern Sustain (#64) or Ctrl pedal (#11), but always ModWheel (#1) as far as I can see. So, in the eyes of Clavia, it doesn't seem to be handled as standard CC though it surely is.
