first, sorry for my english, I'm French.

From several months I've several leds which are lighted despite the fact it's not active. For example the led of "EQ mid" is lighted on everytime, also the ones of "P" on Delay or several others (for example certains buttons of Organ even if Organ is not activated).
If I activate the delay, the led of EQ lights on.
Or if I activate "skr/comp", "effect 2" and "EQ" lights on.
But the sound is ok (for the moment !!).
Some are really bright and some less bright...

A few days ago, when I was playing the program was changing alone, very bad ! But not since.

Also, the buttons "kbd split" doesn't work anymore (i never use).
Some days ago the button to activate "the sample synth" didn't work but today it's working.

It seems electric problem, like surge. But my others equipments are ok, and I live in big city (Paris) so it can't be lightning i think.

I'm only using my NE6 at home, he never felt or something else, and i bought it in sept 2018, it's not old ! i've done last update.

Please, do you have an idea ? I'm afraid my NE6 is dying !

I don't see any post with this problem.

Is there any possibility to reset the electronic ? I think that " Factory Restore" only affects programs and samples.

I hope, this is clear.

With the attachment I think it's clear : here i'm only using Piano with string res/ sust ped/ touch 1 and Sample with sust ped/ touch 1.

Hi, each time you restart the instrument, it reboots, so not sure what you mean by "reboot".

What I would do is unplug the instrument from the power, open it and check all flat cable connectors and any dirt/spills in the circuit board. I would unplug and plug the flat cables in case there is some faulty contact. Only do this if you are confident of what you are doing.
If you are not confident, better take the instrument to the service.

By "reboot" i wanted to know if it was possible to flash memory ? To reset it.

But a technician said me today that when you udpate the OS it's like a flash, it deletes and rewrites it.

I've already done that, so I think it's a hardware problem.

Hi Ohayo, did you find a way to resolve this?

I also have an Electro 6, and have the identical problem. The same lights (and exactly the same combinations as yours) are on when they should not be, just like your photo. The most confusing light to look at is "P" on Delay, which is at times so bright it's hard to distinguish between on/off.

I have a very similar problem with my NS2. I think it may be related to an electrically noisy power supply. I see large noise spikes at about 40kHz.

Update...

Actually there were a number of LEDs that needed changing. Some of the green LEDs were faulty causing a bit of leakage.

To "Reboot" or "Reset" your Nord you will want to download the Nord electro 6 factory reset file from the Nord website. Then download it onto your nord
