No piano sounds in Panel A - Nord Classic V2.0x

Hello
Big thank you for your suggestions on how to split the keyboard! I have read the manual for this unit a couple of times now. There is still tons of terminology and concepts I am unfamiliar with. I will be learning for quite some time to come.

I purchased this used Nord Classic V2.0x without really knowing that much about these instruments. It seems that when I select a piano progam (Such as program 1.1) - it will not sound at all if I select Panel A. I cannot get any pianos in Panel A period. I have updated the OS and just finished doing a factory reset hoping that might solve the problem.

Any ideas right off the mark? Hardware issue? I did a search of the archive and didn't come accross this specific problem.

Check the Piano Audio A Output setting. Shift + Program 1 then 4 presses on the Page + button. What does it say?

Also, are you listening through headphones or which outputs have you got connected? (CH1-4).

Thank you! Re: No piano sounds in Panel A - Nord Classic V2.

Hey Changearound - Thank you very much! It was set to outputs 3and4. I was using headphones. I set it to outputs 1 and 2 and now it's working in the headphones. I am not sure why it wouldn't work in the headphones in 3 and 4 though. Thanks again! JamKeith

That's by design (as manual explains) since redirecting a section to out 3/4 is intended mainly to send the audio to some outboard (effects, other) and cannot use the NS Rotary so you would hear something different in the headphones (just the dry signal and/or no Rotary).
