Nord Stage 3 - Sending transpose change via MIDI

Hey guys,

I have set up my Nord Stage 3 HP76 to have patches changed automatically from an iPad using MIDI program changes [1-16, 0-2, 0-7, 0-49] with no issues. I wanted to know if there was any way to change the transpose value (i.e: from 0 to -3), then switch the transpose button on (0->1) automatically through MIDI IN. There is an appendix in the manual with all the CC values to control different functions, but I could not see transpose/set here. Does anyone know if there a way to process this, perhaps using an unlisted CC value, or sending specific hex code or Sysex message globally?

It's a super niche use, I know, but wanted to avoid having duplicate patches in memory and save time not fiddling with knobs between fast song changes. Not sure if it can be done but let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you.

There is no CC to send "transpose" defined in the MIDI official standard (not just Nord, I mean in general). Some keyboards may allow that, mainly via SysEx or NRPN, but not Nord so I am afraid the only alternative is to save multiple instances of the same Program with different transpose settings or to change it on the fly.

There isn't a way as far as I know, but you can store the transposition in the patch itself.

Thank you guys. I found the best way around is to duplicate and store the transposition in a new patch as suggested. :)
