Case or bag to carry NS2 88 HA on the shoulders

Hi !

I already own the official Nord bag to carry my NS2, but there are no straps at the back to carry it (the only strap is a one-shoulder strap on the top).
The thing is I am currently living on the 3rd floor without elevator :| , and having the possibility to carry the keyboard on both my shoulders would be very helpful.

Do you know a bag like this where the NS2 can fit in ? And if not, does anyone have an idea how to add straps on the regular Nord bag ?

Thanx in advance !

Romain.

I don'think there is any possibility to find softcases with shoulder straps for an 88 key digital Piano, it would be way too long....

For my NS2 I have this soft case,

which as well includes onlyva single-shoulder strap that helps to carry it, but always in a horizontal position

Thanx for your answer.
If I can't find one, I will try to make one then... I just need to find a way to attach straps on the back of the Nord case, and make it SOLID !

I'll take any ideas of course and in a couple of weeks I'll post pictures if it works :D

I have made a career out of finding alternative gig bags for Nord products, which are usually very compact.
With very little success I might add.
Generally speaking an 88 key Nord may fit in a 76 key bag.
One of my previous posts was about plastic cases by Plano.
Even though they are intended for other products they may be
applicable for Nord keys.
At one point I looked into getting a bag repaired, the cost was prohibitive.
All I would suggest is if you DIY then it is normally reinforced somehow.
Good luck,

Guys I haven't tried this but this company makes a lot of quality cases. I can't imagine they wouldn't make one for your boards. I know a lot of people using them for guitars and mandolins. If you are interested try giving them a shout. Disclaimer is I have never used one myself. They are called the Colorado Case Company. Google pulls them right up. Heck they even have harp cases and customs and non musical hard and soft case options. If one of you gets one let us know!

Mothaba one last idea and Indont know if this is possible where you live, but here you could go to a saddle shop and have some straps made of leather and sewn on.

Here is the reply I got from the case company. Hope this helps someone.

We make backpack style keyboard cases on a regular basis.  You can see them
online under soft cases>keyboards.  Each case is custom made to fit a
specific instrument based on your measurements.

The shoulder straps are the main thing I miss from my E3 bag. They made it so easy to carry the E3. Of course, there's the weight difference, which I first experienced yesterday. I love the Stage2... I just secretly question if its worth the weight...

Thanx for all your ideas !

I think I'm gonna sew the straps on the case : it is cheaper than ordering a new one. I'll let you know when it's done !
