Have you looked through your system settings in the nord specifically for the output?

Do you mean no sound from LorR output of the Focusrite, or from the outputs of the Electro 5? Same question for the headphone jack?

No sounds from L Or R output however output from headphone jack works. I tested through a Fender Twin and no sounds from L or R but headphone jack works into the Fender. And no sounds through the Focusrite midi interface? I checked the system settings and switched back from stereo to L & R and still no sounds ! Ty Dennis

So, I've been recording with an Electro 5 5D for several years via MacBook and Focusrite Claret with no issues. I also used the Nord live with no issues. I recently re connected to a Mac Mini and dowloaded all the drivers from the website. I get no sounds from the R or L channel. So I plugged the Nord into a Fender Twin,, and still no sounds. I tried the headphone output and that worked, with both input into the Fender and the Focusrite. The midi function works fine and triggers the sounds in Logic. So I reset the Nord and updated the OS on the Nord. I also unplugged the sustain and rotor pedal. I tested the input on the Focusrite with a a guitar and it's working. This is unusual and first time it's happened. It seems like the outputs just don't work?! Any other suggestions before I attempt to locate a repair shop here in Phx AZ. ty DV

What drivers are those? The Macs do not require any drivers. Only Windows requires those to connect to the Nords.
Have you connected an expression pedal before this happened?
I can't think of many other things. Maybe I would reinstall the OS, or the previous version of the OS.
Let us know when you find the solution.

I think this is quite diagnostic, you already tried other cables, re-installing the OS of your NE5, and with the 'Stereo' output routing you should get the same sound on L and R as from the headphones output - therefore I think perhaps there's a defect in the physical L and R outputs or output circuitry - which would be sad of course -
I decided to move this topic to the Nord Electro forum, perhaps other Electro 5 users can further help you to solve this.
Cheers,
Albert

The tech determined that in fact there is a defect in the L&R output. He’s been attempting to reach out to vendors to find the replacement to no avail. The board #mainboard
Version 1.1 CLA310
serial # is
EM15315
Any suggestions to find the replacement part? Thx Dennis

You need to contact the official Nord distributor for US (see distributors page on Nord website).
