Adapter for US Power to European Power

Hello,

Our son is studying in Italy for 1 year and wants to take his Nord Electro 6 with him (US power). Do we need anything in addition to an outlet/socket adapter for 110/120 to 220/240 so he can safely use it in Italy? We don't want to fry the keyboard!!

Get a high quality voltage converter, not just a plug adapter. Definitely do NOT use those cheap ones suitable for electric razors or hair dryers.

It’s been many years since I’ve had to do this, but I used one somewhat similar to this.

It might be easier to switch the input voltage and get a suitable fuse to the power supply. If I remember correctly, the Electro 6 power supply is identical to the Stage 3:
