Case recommendations?
Just got my first Nord (a Stage 3 88) and love it! Trying to find a decent case. Currently not interested in the Nord soft case (too many reports of issues over time).
Because of all the knobs on the Stage 3, I am concerned about using a case that has straps, which most of the soft and soft ridged cases have.
The hard cases have foam on the top, and I am unsure if that poses a risk of breaking the knobs or not...
so...looking for any recommendations any of you have. Thanks!

Re: Case recommendations?
This is the one I have been looking at: https://www.gatorcases.com/products/key ... tsa-key76/
My only problem with the Nord soft case is that multiple reports are stating that it will last roughly 2 years, and for ~$700, that is expensive. Also, I think I would prefer a hard case, or at least one of the rigid soft cases.

May I share this, Nanuk case. I learned about it from one of the Forum members who uses it. I don't have one yet, but saving for one to use for my Nord Stage 3 Compact 73. Looks like it will also work with the 88-key version.

Re: Case recommendations?
That may fit the bill, and the price is right. I had looked at other rifle cases, but none of them seemed deep enough, however, this one looks good. Amazon has the Olive one for just over $300, so not bad.

Re: Case recommendations?
Hello, and welcome to the Forum! With any case it would also be good to make sure that the 1/4" jacks on the back of the Stage 3 are also sufficiently protected. The jacks have plastic sleeves that can be broken if the case is set down too hard. Good luck to you.

Re: Case recommendations?
I have a Gator case for over 5 years, lots of gigging and it has cost me something below 300,-€. I do not know what other do with theirs, but I´d buy it again. I think it´s great and never had a better one.

Re: Case recommendations?
I have used a Gator TSA 61 for over 5 years, first with Roland Juno-DS61, then Stage 3 73. It fits in perfectly with some scissor cutting on the grey foam pieces. Never had a problem. Although I might not be the heaviest user.
Of course if money is not an issue, get a lighter and sturdier case. Otherwise Gator TSA (whichever size will fit a S3 88) will do the job.

Re: Case recommendations?
I am using the original Nord cases for both my Stage 3-88 and my Stage 3 Compact since around 4-5 years now and the cases are still in mint condition, same like the Stage 3s themselvesmuzicman0 wrote: My only problem with the Nord soft case is that multiple reports are stating that it will last roughly 2 years, and for ~$700, that is expensive.
