Can you change the Nord Synth sample library from 3.0 to the 4.0 (I like the samples better)On this particular model?
It says its only compatible with the Nord Piano 5

As far as I know, there are only some details changed in the new sound library. But no - there is no OS update in sight for the NE6 to be able to use NSL4 samples. You can use NSL3 samples or convert NSL2 samples for direct use in NE6 through the Sound Manager software.
The newer sample format allows for round robin sounds and an advanced vibrato feature - which is only compatible with the Piano 5 for the moment.
EDIT: As the thing is rather new (the Library 4 got online only some hours ago!), some users still hope for an upgrade to the NE6. I'm not that sure about that.
