Hi Guys,
I need a function to enable where to enable pitch bend. I bought a ATEMP MC1 Midi controller to a have a pitch bend, modulation wheel. I'm in contact with the manufacturer and he recommends the latest firmware, which will allow to enable pitch bend. The latest firmware Update of the NE5D was in may 21. I already have the latest firmeware OS V2.02. But i cant found the enabling position. Or is it possible to use the firmware from NE6D.

let me start with your last question: No, it’s not possible to install a firmware or updates of other keyboards to a particular model.

And to your first question how to use pitch bending at an electro 5D: it only reacts to bending in the extern section and only to the sound you play from an external keyboard. I myself tried to pitchbend a sound one or two years ago, no matter if from a second keyboard or an iPad app, the only way was that the keyboard that triggers the notes also has to send the pitch controller.

The update history for the OS says: "Part Upper now supports MIDI Pitch Bend from external keyboard, when in MIDI Split mode." (summer 2015)

thanks for your replies and sorry that i answer so late. Had a lot to do and not much time to try your advices. At moment I'm trying different setting with the ATEMP MC1 Midi controller as the manufacturer recommends. Unfortunately it doesn't work. The next days i will try with an external midi m-audio kb i got this week from a friend for try. If this works the ATEMP MC1 Midi controller also should work. We will see.
