Hi everyone, I hope all of you are doing well. For those looking for sounds and effects with the Clavinet, here's a program I put together that focuses on the synth side, combining my synth version of the clavinet "P5SynthClav W.ns3f" at viewtopic.php?t=15996 with a Clavinet sample I put together that won't break the Nord memory bank at only 198 KB. The MP3 covers the program in the following in order:

A) Clavinet Sample on Panel A
B) "A" plus Flanger
C) "B" plus EQ and AutoWah with Rate morphed to the Control Pedal
D) P5SynthClav on Panel B
E) "D" plus Flanger
F) "E" plus AutoWah with Rate morphed to the Control Pedal (same settings as Panel A)
G) Add Panel B piano section Clavinet
H) Both Panels On ("C" and "G" settings)
I) Add Panel A piano section Clavinet

When I use the Wah or AutoWah, I usually use the EQ as well to add some low end back in and sometimes make other changes such as taking take out some of the midrange if needed. You get what you "pay" for - at 198K my sample was put together using only three sampled notes focused on the low and middle section with the rest being interpolated (ending at G6). Better, but larger Clavinet samples can be found on the Nord site at https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... -30/pianos if you are interested. As set up, the effects can easily be applied to the piano section Clavinets if desired. I hope some of you get some use out of these. Take care.

Thanks a lot. This doesn't sound very pretty to me, but powerful and impressive. Rocking, if you will. I'll have a look into it.

Thanks. I agree, there are prettier Clavinets :) I had the same thought about it "rocking" and have the B3 already set up to add to the mix as well. Take care.

That sort of fat clav sound is very useful in certain genres, so thanks!

It sounds awesome. I particularly like the ones with wah FX. Thanks so much!
