Hi,

(maybe introducing yourself or just saying "Hi" before just asking for help would not have been a bad thing...)

However, a key playing louder than others usually implies a dirty contact at that key that needs cleaning, but of you NS3 is still under warranty probably you should have it done by the official assistance. You can also try to clean the contact indirectly by playing that key "fast and strong" (repeated strikes) for a while, but if this doesn't change the situation quickly you need to go for cleaning.

It's hardly a contact issue in my opinion, because otherwise the offending key would always play louder than the others regardless of the sound loaded, not just whilst playing the B3. Unless it's a software bug (unlikely but possible, sometimes Nord do fix weird bugs years after simply because they are extremely rare and not many bother reporting them), it might be something much more serious.

As maxpiano suggested, let your seller take care of it if it's still under warranty. Otherwise, try a factory restore first and, in case you haven't done it yet, update to the latest OS (whose changelog ironically states "Fixes rare issue with spurious knob value changes"). Writing Nord for suggestions' also worth a try.

OP wrote the "b3 key" (B of 3rd octave) not "B3 sound"... (funny coincidence though) ;)

Sorry, I'm stupid. I thought they simply missed an "a" before "key". It's most definitely a faulty contact then, as you suggested. Unless it's still under warranty, cleaning it with some contact cleaner might be enough unless it's too oxidised.
