Hi-
The sample editor works with .wav files only. Once converted to NSMP3, it is a proprietary format only used by Nord instruments. You would need to start with the original .wav file, or re-record the sample as a .wav file and then reload it back into the editor-
-dj

The only way if it is a user created sample: you would need the sample editor project file and the wave files originally used to create the sample, then re-create the sample in sample editor according to your needs
No way if it is a sample from Nord‘s own library…

Thank you for your answers
I wanted to rework the Ghostbusters samples which were visibly made for the 88 keys and I wanted to remove some of them

Ask the creator of the nsmp file to send you a Sample Editor project to you. Then modify to your needs.

Advice for Sample-Patches wich are too big for smaller Keyboards:
Just octave this Patch up or down, save to a different Preset on your Keyboard and switch between Songparts per Button.
I'm the Creator of the Ghostbusters Patch and I'm playing on the Electro 6d with 61 Keys. Live it's a little stressful, but it works.
