Stop Audio From Secondary Keyboard for Pitch Bend

Hi all,

I have an Electro 6D and a Stage 2 EX. As the Electro 6D doesn't have pitch bend i'm using the MIDI function to control and play patches from my Electro 6D on my Stage 2 EX. The only issue is when I use the Stage 2 EX audio comes out of the Electro 6D as planned but audio also comes out of the Stage 2 EX with whatever patch is allocated at the time. I was wondering if there is a way of muting the audio output of the Stage 2 EX when it is being used as a MIDI controller for the Electro 6D? Hope that makes sense. Many thanks!

Hi Jr

there is a „Local on or off“ setting in the MIDI menu that may help you here. Set to off, the sound engine(s) of your stage are muted.

You can use the Extern section of your NS to send the PB only on the NE6 MIDI Ch, to do this simply configure Extern to "no zone" (all zone leds off) and enable PB on it.

For a complete guide see The Nord Stage MIDI Tutorial
