Bputhg new Lead A1 - some presets blank. Dud keyboard?

Just bought a brand new Nord Lead A1 and some of the presets are blank. Example, Bank 1 number 3 is blank, nothing in that one when I play. There are two or three others out of the 400 programme presets that are blank also, but they have a name in The Nord Sound Manager software. I downloaded and re-installed the factory defaults, but there are still a few dud ones with no sound. Using Bank 1 preset number 3 (some sort of pad if I remember correctly) does not play anything.

Why is this? Do I have a dud synth?

Try to pull up the wheel, maybe there are some weird morph assignments going on.

Are you able to save another sound (e.g. the init sound) on these specific preset numbers?

Thanks, guys, but I found just too many issues with this Nord so I took it back to the shop for a refund.

Ok, bought a used Nord Lead A1 and no issues, must have been dodgy new one off the production line.
