Hello,
I'm a little bit confused about one aspect of Live Mode. On page 12 of the manual it says:
"You can also store programs into any of the five Live Mode memory locations, in which case the program settings will replace that current Live Mode memory setting."
I've looked through the manual and cannot figure out how to do this. What am I missing?
Thx
Mark

Re: Live Mode question
Hi Mark,
I'm at my Stage 2 and it is possible to do this with my keyboard. I'm guessing it's possible on your Piano 2 too but we won't know for sure until you try it yourself. Here is what I did:
1. start off by making sure you're not in live mode
2. go to the program you want to save in a "live" location
3. press "store as.." don't forget the shift button
4. on mine it asks if I want to change the category and name of the program but I just skip that because there aren't categories or names in live mode...just press "store" again but this time no shift button is needed
5. in the last step it asks where you want to save it...press "live mode"
6. choose the live location you want to save it to and press "store" one more time
7. voila!
Hope that works on your machine! Barnaby
edit: perhaps this post should be moved to the piano instead of the stage forum

Re: Live Mode question
Just hit the red STORE button (it will then flash) as you would if you were going to store it in a standard location but then press the LIVE MODE button followed by whichever of the 5 locations (1-5) you want to store it to. Finally hit the STORE button again; Job done
Note: You can't rename the program as the 5 orange Live locations are always named 'Live 1' to 'Live 5'.
Edit: I'm talking about a Stage 3 here, but perhaps that's not what you have...
