Hi there everyone, this is off topic question...
Yesterday I noticed that I'm unable to reply or post to the NUF using chrome on PC. So I thought if I logout and login that will fix the problem. But after logout, I'm unable to login; I enter correct username and password, but when I press login, I'm redirected back to login session. I tried with multiple browsers and 2 PCs and none of them works. I tried clearing up cache, cookies, history, checking up my security software... all other sites work normal?

But everything works fine on my android as I'm now posting this from my phone.

I don't have any logic idea what could be the problem? Has anyone had any similar issue?

Haven't seen this problem so far.
What OS?
Are you trying to access using https or http ?
Do you have an adblocker that might prevent setting cookies?
Have you tried logging in "private mode"?
Updated the browser?

Well, it's very annoying problem... I've tried everything above and with 4 different PC, some of which are not even mine, and I can't log in to my account on a PC. But I can on my phone...

I don't know what have happened and how to solve this problem... if anyone has any other advice, I would appreciate it.

PC?? do you mean "Windows"?
What version, what browser?
Are you trying to access using https or http ?
Do you have an adblocker or similar that might prevent setting cookies?
Do you type your password or do you have is stored in a manager?
Have you tried logging in "private mode"?

Windows 10 (3 different PCs)

Chrome, Opera, Edge, Mozilla...
both HTTP/S are not making me log in successfully

Ad blocker was there before bug happened, everything worked fine, I've stopped it, but didn't help.

Tried in private mode - no success

tried clearing up cookies, cache, etc... - no success

browsers are updated to the newest version

Typing my password, checked it, but even if I click "forgot password", I enter my email and submit, but site actually just clears any filled fields and no reactivation process starts... so either way, I'm unable to login or do anything except view posts from any of three checked PCs.

My android works normally though, and I can easily logout and login, and that's the way I'm sure it's not about my password...

is the Android connected to the internet via WiFi from the same network like the PCs or is it connected through the network of your mobile phone provider like 4G/5G or similar?

If the latter is true: are all PCs in the same network, and if so which kind of security software is been used on these PCs? I suggest to stop ALL software tools including security software like anti virus or similar, and then try again.

Also is there something like an external dedicated firewall device with filter rules in this network which might block this traffic?

Are you by any chance running "noscript" or similar and allowing norduserforum.com as a trusted source?

Thanks a lot, this helped. So it was my Bitdefender anti-virus protection. I thought it couldn't be because everything worked fine on NUF for like 3 years... and no errors inside Bitdefender... but when I turned it off, I could finally log in using PC... it's not about my network.

Great to see that this is solved now - such kind of issues are quite often caused by either security tools on the computer or some network filtering devices. I fwiw deleted all such security tools from my Windows computers, just using the build-in Microsoft Defender which deos the work.
