Hello, welcome to the Forum! Yes. It had the same weighted action as used in the 88-key version.

The Nord product page says so: "88/76 models: Hammer Action Weighted Keys"

Thanks for the help! It looks like a Stage 2 76HA might be hard to find at the point. Or at least finding one to play before I buy will be hard. Is the HA key bed used on any other short scale models. Is it the same as the Piano 2 thru 5?..I play mostly piano for sometimes less than half the songs in my solo set...mostly play guitar... so adding an 88 key to haul around seems less practical for so little use. I also would like having as much versatility for recording at home... Piano Organ and Synths... I've played the Grand 88 (Love it for the feel but so big.. limited synth section) Played some waterfall key Electros .. won't work for me.Sorry for my lack of knowledge. But not many stores...even in LA... have the full lines in a showroom to compare and contrast. Been using an old Yamaha controller and a laptop for years...desperately need to upgrade....this would be my first Nord.

Though not as nice an action as the 88-key, I got used to my 76-key Stage 3 quickly. The ease in carrying it and putting it across the back seat of our SUV when taking it places works for me. The only thing I don't like about the keyboard is that some of the white keys sound like the tops are loose from the key body (they aren't) when just tapped. You can't hear it in performance but home at low volume it's annoying. It's probably an easy fix, just haven't gotten around to opening it up to see what's going on. Still worth it to me - overall the Nord Stage 3 is an incredible keyboard. Good luck to you.
