Trigger Midi In by DAW (ND3)

Sorry, I posted this question before in the wrong forum.
I'm learning the MIDI capabilities of my new ND3. I can record Audio and MIDI in my DAW and I can trigger the ND3 by an external keyboard. But I don't succeed in triggering the sound of the ND3 by a recorded MIDI-Track in my DAW. Is this possible?

Hi there,
now it's obvious you are talking about a Stage. Where did you take the abbreviation from? We usually call it a NS3 (Nord Stage 3).
A small red LED above the program display shows whether you get MIDI-in signals or not.
If yes: You only have to set the right General MIDI channel or Panel MIDI channel - read the MIDI chapter of your NS3 manual.
If no: You'll have to look how to route the MIDI signal from your DAW out of the computer or check the cable.

I think ubsch is referring to a nord drum 3 (ND3), not a keyboard.

Still possible. We'll see.
He posted the same question in the General Nord forum first, then in the Stage forum. Which was an indicator to me that he meant the Stage 3 he's got in his profile.
I'm sure we will soon know if my answer met the topic or not.

I just deleted that double-post.

Sorry, of course it's Nord Stage 3 (NS3). After a lot of searching I noticed that i had to change my configuration in my DAW. Wit the NS3 everything is fine.
