Tuning

I let my toddler play with all the knobs and buttons on a Nord Stage 2 I am borrowing, whilst I played keyboard . I didn't realise at the time but took it to a session and he has, I think managed to alter the tuning on loads of the sounds. Whether it was him or not- that has happened.
The owner would prefer I don't do a factory reset because there are sounds loaded for other live gigs.
How do I go into each sound, tune it and save it to the sound?

there are several ways tuning is controlled in your Stage, at different levels:
1- global tuning in the Sound menu (check the manual for details). Set global tranpose to zero (or the desired amount if for example the band's guitars are tuned 1/2 step down)
2- each specific program tuning, controlled by the transpose button. Check if the transpose light is on, and turn it off and/or adjust the amount.
3- every part (organ, piano and synth) has its own octave setting, controlled by the octave buttons right below each part's Level knob
4- specific to the synth section only, the oscillators may be detuned. This is controlled by the Shape knob when in Detune (Dtn) mode, check the manual for more details.
Still, it seems very odd that your son was able to permanently change the tuning of so many sounds, because he would have had to save them afterwards, or the changes wouldn't have been retained. Has the instrument been turned off after the accident? If not, and if nothing was saved, the simplest solution may just be to do a power off/on cycle.

Our guitar player brought his toddler to practice one afternoon and in no time our PA settings were "detuned". I have the same thoughts as Spider on the areas to look into; hopefully it will be something simple. Good luck to you and please let us know what you find out. Take care.

You're sure the toddler didn't just move the whole keyboard a couple of inches to the left? Kids are strong these days.

If I had a friend, whom I borrow my 3k+ EUR synth and he "let his toddler play around on the knobs" I would kill him. Not the toddler, the now ex-friend. You.

Hey, Kaffimusic,
don't write things like that. There are regions in the world where it would be taken literally. Thank God this is far from usual in our country.

If I had borrowed a nord I wouldn't let ABSOLUTELLY ANYONE touch it, especially a little kid. There are toy pianos for them.
