We'll see how they'll call it. From the website it seems like Nord Drum, but maybe it is the start of a whole new series,
nordkeyboards.com
norddrum.com
..
nordguitar.com
nordviolin.com

Nord Bagpipes! They can release special limited editions of the entire keyboard line in TARTAN to commemorate the event.
Best of all, Swedish men in kilts on the NAMM/MusikMesse floors! I can't wait to see the pictures...

Haha, you really just put a terrible idea in my head

.
Next time I'm in the Netherlands, I'll bring my fieldrecorder to make a draaiorgelsample. And that's your fault.

It's nice to see Nord making a drum machine again ! back to the origins ?
They could call it "ddrum 2"

Indeed and this is probably why they refer to it "comes from the past".
But ddrum wouldn't work since they sold the ddrum brand (apparently to this company:
http://www.ddrum.com/electronics.php it seems.)

Hmm, it's really interesting to see what they can give into this market... We already have all the Akais, Korgs (digital harware, iOs apps and those tiny analog monotrons), DSI's new analog beast, Roland v-drums and all the smaller brands. Then all those softwares and hybrid solutions like Arturia Spark. I have Spark, which is very flexible thing: it has huge amount of emulations of these classic analog drum machines and sample library which grows all the time (because it's using computer there's no memory limits). I really like it and I use it every day.
We allready have so many things in all prize ranges: from few bucks iOS apps to over 2000 euros analog monsters. Real question is, did they found a new interesting thing to make us put our money into it? We'll see about that...

Interesting, but different info than on norddrum.com (registered by Clavia) than on norddrumS.com (AudioTurtle..?? just a reseller or an additional/new distributor??)
