MIDI Transpose

I use my Nord Stage 2 to output via MIDI to my Roland VK-7 so that when I play the piano on the Nord, the Roland plays the strings. Worked fine for years. However, I now am playing with a band that transposes everything down 1/2 step. If I set the Global Transpose on the Stage 2 to -1, it plays the correct pitch. Likewise, if I set the VK-7 global transpose to -1 and play that keyboard, it plays the correct pitch. But when I send MIDI to the VK-7 I don't get the correct pitch. It appears that the Nord transposes down and the VK-7 transposes down also. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dale

On the Stage 3, we have a setting in the MIDI menu for "Transpose MIDI at" sending or receiving data, so that there is no double transposing. What about the Stage 2?

From what I can see, that option is not in the Stage 2.

So does anyone have a solution for this problem? I really thought I was asking something simple.

Unfortunately NS2 does not support the Transpose at MIDI OUT, transposition applies ad Section (soudn generators) level while via MIDI it always sends and receives the real (physical) note, teh VK7 instead seems to apply transposition also at MIDI level; no easy workaround coming to my mind other than manually stop the transposing on either the VK7 or NS2 in that case (to avoid double transposing) or use a MIDI Event Processor to "restore" the transposition on the fly.
