Hello,

I played again my old Nord Rack 1 yesterday, after 10 years of silence...still sounding great !

My problem is that i can't access no ROM performances... I have just the A0 patch and i can't scroll to other patches...
OS is 1.6, with polyphony expansion.

I went to the Nord website, downloaded the Nord Lead Factory Banks.zip : i can recall the factory sound by .smf, but there is no factory performances .smf. It's sad, cause i'm interested in the Prophet 5 sounds emulation...

My questions :
- is my bug a common bug, is there a way to get those ROM Performances back ?
- I have contacted a seller of the 2.7 OS EEPROM : he says that EEPROM contains no sound. Is it still interesting for me to have it ? What would be the gains of installing that OS ?
- I plan to buy a SRAM Card, to be able to download and test the Sounds and performances of the 4 libraries .smf of Nord Website : do you think that, with that Card, i'll be able to get the 4 libraries Performances ?
- If it's possible to play the performances via the SRAM Card, is there a way to get the ROM factory Performances via dump and download it on the card via .smb ?

FYI : the ROM Performance was solved by upgrading from 1.6 to 2.7.
I ordered a 2.7 EPROM via www.vintagesynthparts.com : very fast reply and shipping.
Easy to install with the right extraction tool, and the Nord Rack 1 is brand new

PCMCIA card on its way from Germany (Memorix : memorix@t-online.de), very fast and friendly too.

SO, for approx. 100 € my old synth is at its best again.
