Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and love checking out some of the sounds people have made! I'll definitely try to contribute some of my own in the future.
I have a request to see if anyone can get close to any of these very specific synth sounds:
Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Can't Keep Checking my phone - (the synth melody at 2:27 in, after the first chorus)
Mac Miller - Complicated - (basically any of the synth sounds in this song, they all sound amazing! Especially the main chords at the start, the riff at 1:31, and the dreamy chords at the end of the song)
Madvillain - All Caps - (the detuned piano sound)
Tame Impala - Posthumous Forgiveness - (the melody at about 1:30 in, or any of the synth to be honest!)
I know these are probably quite specific and difficult, but I'm only asking on here because I'm finding it difficult getting them myself!
I tend to like the general Juno 106 type sound that you can hear in a lot of Tame Impala/Animal Collective/Flaming Lips type music, so if anyone's got any Juno 106 samples that would be much appreciated too.
Thank you

Re: REQUEST - Some very specific sounds
Hello, welcome to the Forum! I appreciate you taking the time to put in links and times to make it easy to listen to what you are interested in. I believe the Stage 3 could recreate the sounds without having to use samples but this group is applicable to a broader range of users who might be able to help. A few resources for you:
The Nord User Sounds website has an easy search engine to access Stage 3 programs and NSMP/NSMP3 samples. Along with hundreds of other programs posted in this Forum, over 80 of mine are posted at
nord-stage-3-programs-ns3p-ns3pb-files- ... 15748.html along with a link to My Keys To Music who has a great tutorial series (some free). Hopefully folks here will be able to point you toward other resources to help. Take care
