Funny timing. I just did a home studio recording of a jazz ballad where I incorporated strings for the first time. I used the Kontakt Library, but maybe I'll substitute in these to hear the difference. The Kontakt strings sound nice, but the attack time is way too long and I cannot adjust it.

Even though they're swing-oriented, I find the Big Band patches particularly suitable for pop and cinematics too. Especially the softer ones, as their subdued, gentle and "ambient" character is unlike any other string sound Nord ever released. So, thanks for this great addition!

I finally got around to loading some of the new Swing samples into my Nord last night. I didn't find anything that I'd use apart from the Big Band Soft brass which sounds lovely, especially as a soft pad behind the White Grand, my current favourite piano. I'd recommend giving it a listen if you haven't tried it! The double bass sounds are good too but not something I'd need very often. I also noticed a couple of glockenspiel samples and a rather nice bowed vibraphone have been added recently too :)
