Ok, so my intention is to set up a few of the live programs on the Wave 2 to control an external sound module. I do not want the module to be played on any other patches, just when I hit one of the live buttons; of course the Wave will have its layers turned down on those patches. In this way, I can switch between the Wave and the external module by simply hitting a button. Is there any reason why this would not work?
I assume I would just set the individual channels of the layers on the live programs to be different than the default assignment, and have the sound module respond to only those channels. The manual says the channels can be assigned per patch, so it seems this would all be doable.
Any thoughts?
