Merry Christmas!

I just got a brand new ND3 for Christmas and I just turned it on, and tried playing it. However, there is no sound coming out of the synth...

Everything lights up, and I see the little arrows responding to the pads being hit. There simply is no sound coming out either from the phones or the two left and right outputs.

Is there a mode or a setting I’m missing that’s cutting the sound? Or is it defective?

Well, I guess you checked if the master level knob is not at zero,
-Perhaps Local control is off, see page 12 of the manual, if so, switch it on,
-Did you try a couple of different drum kits? Perhaps a silent kit was selected, although I'd be surprised if you bought it new..
-always try other cables, other headphones if possible..
I can't think of any other reason, if it's none of the above, perhaps the unit is defective..

Yes, I have checked everything you mentioned, and it still isn’t producing any output

I sent an email to the dealer, but with the pandemic situation, I don’t know how long it will be before I can work towards a solution. But anyways, I still have my A1 to keep me busy!

Just a little follow up. I managed to get my unit replaced, and just got my hands on the new one! Everything works great!

I’ve been playing with it all afternoon! What a beast!
