Stuck Notes

My Stage 3 88 has recently started having an issue with stuck notes and I have to use the Panic button to release them. There are no Midi keyboards or devices plugged in the the keyboard. I have the most current OS 2.54 installed. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I have not done a complete System Reset yet. That will be my next plan. I was hoping to avoid that step.
Thanks,
Jon

A Stage 3 88 has a triple-sensor-keybed, right? Can this happen if one contact is defective/dirty? Is it always on the same keys?

No actually the Stage 3 88 has a two sensor keybed. The one with the 3 sensor system is the Grand.
I'd also tend to think about accumulating dirt as the source of the OP's issue, since he claims it to be a problem whose occurrence has been increasing. But apart from taking it apart and clean it, I wouldn't know what to do. (Incidentally, wait for someone more knowledgeable than me -- not difficult task! -- before actually taking the board apart, as there may be other simpler solutions.)
I guess we should start with the obvious: does this happen with every sound engine? For example the Organ engine only uses one of the two contacts per key: does this happen with the Organ too?

The notes stick with organ and electric piano. The keyboard is less than 6 month old, so dirt should be an issue. I'm now thinking of changing the sustain pedal to see if that could be the cause. WIll report back. thanks

Electric pianos only? That's strange. What about acoustic pianos?
